 Madame Muska is played by Eva Ribeiro.

 

Born in 1985, in Portugal, Eva studied Theatre - Directing and Acting at the Superior School Arts, Porto, in 2006, from where she went on to study physical theatre and mask techniques, among other subjects at Jacques Lecoq Official International School in Paris, graduating in 2008.

 

Over the last 10 years she has worked with several companies and art projects, and continues to develop her skills, in the fields of Circus, Street Theatre and Clowning.

 

Eva regularly participates in workshops with several masters of clown and jester in Spain, Brazil, France and Italy. Adelvane Neia, Silvia Leblon, Jeff Johnson, Johny Melville, Virginia Imaz, Jesus-Jara, Matteo Cifariello and clown Tomate are some of the inspirations she has encountered on her way.

 

In 2011 Eva founded her own company, Madame Nez Rouge, with which she has been presenting clown shows on and international scale as well as offering workshops and seminars on The Art of Clowning. 

 

Her show, Madame Kill has been presented over the past few years in diverse theatres, festivals and clown gatherings. This year she has been honored with invitations to take part in the ‘7 Mostra de Mulheres Palhaças’ Clown Display in Chapitô- Circus School in Lisbon, as well as the ‘IV Encontro de Mulheres Palhaças’ Female Clown Festival in Brasília, Brazil.

 

About her director 

 

Adelvane Néia is an actress and Clown of Humatriz Theatre Company (Brazil). Made her debut into the world of clowning in 1989 with Luis Otávio Burnier/Lume Theatre. Circled around festivals in Brazil and in Europe, for 15 years with her solo A-MA-LA, directed by Naomi Silman. In 1998 she crated the project ‘The Clown and his Poetry’. Administrates courses in study the of the language, technical advice and direction of performances, in total, 6 have become Clown Solo’s.
